Welcome!  I congratulate you on daring to take this important step in seeking out the best therapeutic fit for you to dive into the demanding and simultaneously rewarding work of therapy.  My compassion for people and the hardships they face, whatever walk of life they are in, coupled with my own positive experiences with therapy through challenging life events are what led me to become a therapist.  I can assure you that I am one who has "walked the walk" of being the client and in doing so approach my clients with authenticity and a down-to-earth nature, speaking to the fact that we are all human and all are welcome in my therapy room.

 

I strive to provide a non-judgmental, collaborative and safe environment where you can heal, learn new skills and more effectively manage the rollercoaster ride that is life.  My therapy style is a client-centered and accepting approach while also challenging you to encourage growth, increase accountability and help you unveil your strengths and innate abilities.  Together we will help you attain a deeper understanding of your attachment history, your emotional life and its impact on your decisions and actions, as well as relationship patterns with the aim of uncovering new ways to have a fulfilling and peaceful relationship with yourself and those around you.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Clinical Supervisor in Arizona and earned a Masters of Advanced Studies in Marriage and Family Therapy (MAS-MFT) from Arizona State University.  I have specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).  In addition, I utilize mindfulness, art therapy and play therapy.  I have over a decade worth of experience working with individuals ranging from children to adults, as well as couples and families.
